Journal of Contemporary Islamic Studies (JCIS) publishes research and concept papers that address significant issues in Islamic studies that are relevant to the academician and the community at large.

Papers could be in English, Arabic or Malay. Emphasis is given to clarity of understanding, originality and scholarly merit.
