Welcome to the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS).

ACIS is a rapidly expanding academic centre in UiTM. Starting as a religious unit, its establishment has continued until it was upgraded to the Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies (ACIS) in 2012, ACIS has excelled in two major roles. First, they supervise and teach all MPU codes (General subjects) to all UiTM systems, with a total of 22,000 students per semester. Moreover, ACIS is now growth as an academic centre that responsible in offering and supervising its own academic programmes to the students.

The top management of UiTM has set the aspiration of becoming a Globally Renowned University by 2025. Thus, ACIS as one of the entities embodied in UiTM also responsible to play its role in supporting the aspiration. This serves as motivation for all ACIS members to work together to laverage its huge potential. ACIS is committed to support the UiTM 2025 aspiration and will work hard to initate relevant initiatives that will propel ACIS forward.
